Your opportunity

We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to join our Water  team in Adelaide.

This role would suit somebody looking for a new journey, within a growing team and an interest in developing best practice with the local water industry. You will have the opportunity to:

• Assist with the development of flood assessments
• Develop designs in liaison with other design disciplines for an integrated design approach
• Effective use of a variety of software to enable civil design and document outputs.
• Prepare design outputs for the preparation of industry-standard design drawings.
• Prepare inputs into engineering reports, specifications, and other supporting design documentation.
• Work within client and authority requirements, and established industry best practice. 
• Independently review and follow applicable design standards and guidelines.
• Work effectively within a team and collaborate with other disciplines to achieve efficient design outcomes.
• Proactively identify and promptly respond to project issues and risks by using strong problem-solving skills to mitigate risk.
• Perform non-routine tasks of substantial variety and complexity within the Water Market

About you

• Chartered Engineer (or demonstration of path to achieving)
• Experienced in designing solutions within a construction lead environment
• Ability to confidently work under pressure with limited supervision
• Deliver client-ready design development reports
• Experience of detailed design and execution phase
