The Opportunity 

 

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Principal Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our national Project Delivery team. We currently have openings in our Adelaide and Queensland offices. This role is ideal for someone with 5-12 years of experience. You will support our expanding risk and assurance practice across various sectors, including Transport, Water, Buildings, and Health, working on iconic infrastructure and advisory projects.   

 

You will collaborate with purpose-driven, high-performing professionals across different sectors and disciplines to promote Risk Advisory services. Your contributions will add unique differentiators to our product offerings, providing a holistic approach to winning and delivering work. 

 

What You Can Bring to the Team 

 

In this role, you will closely interact with project teams to support the delivery of projects as the Risk advisor. Your responsibilities will include understanding and applying relevant risk analysis tools and techniques, conducting both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to support informed and evidence-based decision-making. With your previous experience in a consulting environment, you will be comfortable leading client-facing engagements. You will ideally be able to demonstrate an appreciation of broader major project/program management practices and complexities.  

 

Your key responsibilities will include performing detailed risk analysis, workshop facilitation and delivering quality reports. You will use your advanced communication skills and experience in external and internal stakeholder management to influence colleagues' and clients’ decision-making through the application of sound risk-based approaches. You will have a track record of developing positive client relationships and securing consultancy work from clients.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Industry experience: Relevant experience in industries such as Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure, Defence, Water, Health
