Job Description:

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Spearhead and manage a team of 50-60 Civil, Structural Engineers, Architects, Modelers, and CAD Designers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance in design, cost estimation, contractor reviews, and quality plans control across Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
  • Drive operational excellence and productivity improvements, including design optimization, value engineering, innovation, and digital technologies.
  • Oversee the review process to ensure high-quality standards and a Safe by Design approach.
  • Monitor team performance, foster career development, promote a culture of accountability, and ensure effective recruitment and talent management.
  • Promote technical excellence through innovation, standardization, and continuous knowledge sharing.
  • Support business development by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks.
  • Conduct technical practices in Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
  • Manage inter-discipline conflicts and technical issues, ensuring timely project milestones and engineering estimations.
  • Oversee change control processes, review geo-technical reports, and support efficiency improvements across teams.
  • Guide team development through training and technical clinics.
  • Champion standardization, design guidelines, and ensure quality through design model reviews.
  • Promote professional excellence through industry participation and drive customer satisfaction by addressing feedback and service improvement.

 

Candidate Specification:

  • Bachelor’s in civil engineering/ Master's in structural engineering and experience in concept/ FEED, detailed design and engineering of civil and structural works on industrial projects like pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, FMCG, capital goods warehouse etc. Experience of infrastructure, renewables projects will be an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of technical management, strong commercial acumen, managerial and administrative skills, managerial, problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have expertise in building and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Should be familiar with tools like STAAD Pro, STAAD Advanced Foundation, RCDC, RAM Connections, NAVIS and Plant 3D and have proficiency in Indian and international codes, standards, and local statutory norms.
