About the Role:
As the Document Controller you will support the Project Manager in ensuring proper document management systems are maintained for the project.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Ensure that all project documents are checked and submitted on time prior to the documents submission due date

The Candidate shall be responsible for all issues and services related to the Document Control and Project Document Management:
- Electronic scanning of documents for distribution as PDF digital copies to designated recipients and uploading to Ashghal Contract Management System;
- Maintaining a hard copy reference library of all documentation which ensures quick and easy retrieval of information;
- Using latest version of Primavera Contract Management (software for controlling and updating the status of Contract Documents;
- Prepare and register Correspondences, Reports, Payment Requisition, Variation Order, Site Instructions, Punch List, and NCR using Primavera Contract Management;
- Track, update the status, and follow up Submittals, Safety Reports, RFC's, Site Minutes of Meetings, Progress Photographs, Contract Issues, and Drawings;
- Producing regular reports of outstanding actions and responses on correspondence through Primavera Contract Management;
- Ensuring the use of standardized forms and reports of Ashghal which are available in Primavera Contract Management in coordination with PWA OP&M System;
- Should collect, store and report all digital photographs in electronic format for the construction works in compliance with the PPPA requirements.
- Ensuring the integration with OP&M System from all projects stakeholders 'PWA- PMCs-Contractors.
Candidate Specification:

Diploma in Administration or specialized training in (Primavera Contract Management)

Experience in Document Control and tracking in Construction or Engineering companies

Candidates must have EDMS {Electronic Documents Management Systems) preferably Primavera Contract Management;
- Experience in document control from the project initiation to close out phases, utilizing computer-based systems (Primavera Contract Management/EDMS), within the framework of an integrated project services function for the effective management of a wide range of concurrent projects

IT literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access) and good keyboard skills are a must

Able to organise workload with accuracy and attention to detail and demonstrate ability to forward plan

A dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.
