Position : Quantity Surveyor

Location : Allahabad/Prayagraj

 

Job Profile

 

· Quantity Take-offs: Proficiency in accurately measuring and calculating quantities of materials and works from drawings and specifications.

· BOQ Preparation: Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project documentation.

· Contract Management: Understanding of construction contracts and the ability to administer them effectively.

· Variations and Claims: Experience in handling variations (changes to the contract scope) and claims (requests for additional payment).

· DAB and Arbitration: Supporting client in DAB/Arbitration cases

 

 

The candidate must have

· Diploma/Graduate in Civil Engineering.

· More than 3 years with B.Tech and 5 years for Diploma

· More than 1 year in similar position for B.Tech and 3 years for Diploma

· Being replacement position & work requirements, please consider 7-8 years of similar experience in Railway preferably DFCC Project.

· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity estimation software.

· Construction Principles: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.

· Regulations and Standards: Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and standards.

· Infrastructure Projects: Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the transportation sector (rail or highway).

· Experience in railway projects, including knowledge of railway-specific construction techniques, materials, and standards, is highly valuable.
