Our Power, Process & Nuclear division are recruiting for a Senior Human factors Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects. This role is to support both clients locally as well as the larger nuclear team based in the UK. The role has following functions but are not limited to:

 

  • Deliver Human Factor support to a range of projects across the Power Process and Nuclear Division of Mott MacDonald
  • Act as a point of contact for Human Factor professionals outside PPN, to advise on internal processes and provide context on the nature of HF tasks and background information on clients
  • Provide advice on the application of HF tools and techniques to other disciplines working in PPN
  • Look for new opportunities and support bids, including nuclear defence
  • Support cross discipline activities, to embed HF in PPN processes.

 

What we need from you:

  • Level 6 or above qualification in a Human Factors related subject
  • Experience supporting projects in a high hazard industry
  • Cross discipline experience
  • Experience of leading the delivery of HF related tasks.

 

What would help you stand out: 

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics (C.Erg.HF)
  • Proficiency in facilitating bid processes
  • Adept at delegating human factors (HF) related tasks
  • Skilled in bolstering engineering design and safety evaluations within the nuclear sector
  • Innovative in implementing cutting-edge HF tools and methodologies
  • Well-versed in managing projects related to nuclear defence.
