Mott MacDonald is looking to welcome a Key Account Leader to support our existing Federal Clients and to identify new relationships with new clients. In this role you will develop an account plan based on their business requirements. You will build and strengthen the business relationship with current account as well as new prospects. It will be necessary to provide pursuit strategy to your Portfolio Manager including teaming approach, prioritization, forecast and creation/management of account pipeline metrics.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new and managing existing Client relationships within a particular client’s organization as well as interfacing on relevant proposals and projects.
- Developing and growing the account in response to organizational needs and strategy.
- Identifying opportunities, turning them into prospects and converting the prospects into projects.
- Growing external relationships, building and maintaining strong networks with key clients, business partners and competitors, driving joint initiatives where appropriate and using these networks to influence, close deals and impact the growth and direction of the business.
- Deliver commercially robust proposals and projects, managing risk and financial performance within the account.
- Build SES Level relationships within the account via value-based solutions involving return on investment analysis
- Sound Business acumen around Forecasting and Pipeline Management
- Providing support to business development activities and strategic initiatives.
- Acting as a role model and ambassador for Mott MacDonald, articulating and representing the brand, vision, and value proposition internally and externally.
- Ability to cross-sell and collaborate with related services.
We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:
- BS degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering
- 15-25 years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of engineering projects
- Significant understanding of federal client landscape.
- 5 to 10 years of DoD experience in managing proposals for engineering projects
- 5 to 10 years’ experience with DoD solicitation cycle and contracts
- Experience in managing and growing client relationships.
