The role. What you will do:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will assist with the design, specification and project delivery of SCADA and telemetry systems for a range of clients. These systems typically consist of multiple remote sites operating PLCs or RTU’s, which communicate back via radio/3G/Fibre to a central SCADA system. The role focuses on understanding the client’s system’s needs, performing an independent assessment, then specifying solutions to manage the implementation.
You will also contribute to the planning and design of various projects, including large municipal, commercial onsite, and industrial trade wastewater & water treatment plants; pump stations; chemical dosing systems; and many other industrial mechanical installations.
Your design experience in water and/or wastewater treatment plants and conveyancing, will mean you can add value from day one andjoin us in delivering exciting projects across New Zealand.
About You:
We are looking for degree qualified Electrical engineer with exposure and experience into the industrial and electrical industries. Experience working for a consultancy would be beneficial, but your expertise and in SCADA, telemetry and control systems and how they operate is essential. In your role you will be comfortable being able to use your commercial and project management skills to help us deliver projects on time and within budget.
You will be an engineer who enjoys using their analytical mind to solve problems, and be able to communicate solutions to clients and stakeholders, while maintaining great relationships.
