Our Electrical and Industrial team delivers specialist electrical engineering services across water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure. We combine strong technical capability with collaboration and practical problem‑solving to deliver safe, reliable, and future‑focused solutions for our clients.
The role – what you’ll do
As a Senior Electrical Engineer (EICA), you’ll play a key role in the technical delivery of projects while supporting junior engineers and working closely with clients and project leaders.
You will:
- Deliver electrical design and technical input across infrastructure and industrial projects
- Prepare and review specifications, calculations, drawings, and reports
- Support project delivery to programme, budget, and quality expectations
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements and develop solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations
- Apply quality, safety, and risk management principles in your work
Projects typically include:
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Pump stations and chemical dosing systems
- Industrial electrical installations
- Control systems, SCADA, and telemetry
This role is based in Auckland, with collaboration across our Auckland, Hamilton, and New Plymouth teams.
About you
You are a capable electrical engineer who enjoys taking ownership of technical work and contributing positively to project teams.
You will bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Solid experience in industrial, water, or infrastructure environments
- Consultancy experience (preferred)
- The ability to work independently on defined technical tasks
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset aligned with our values of Progress, Respect, Integrity, Drive, and Excellence
Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) is encouraged and supported.
