• Be involved in the delivery of a wide range of engineering projects including deep excavations, MRT and other projects.

• Produce documentation, including reports, engineering sketches, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and tender documentation
• Provide support to writing project proposals and business development
• Having an appreciation of the roles of fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and interfacing and coordinating with them appropriately
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current technical standards and practices (including Singapore Standards and Eurocodes) and taking a ‘hands on’ role in technical matters
• A role in driving to digital strategy within civil engineering

We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for our team in KL.

In this role you will find opportunities for strong career progression by contributing to our large scale local and international projects. You will apply your working experience in providing geotechnical design and consultancy services to clients from early-stage feasibility assessments to detailed design and construction support – for major infrastructure projects in Singapore and Malaysia. Your initial focus will be to support Mott MacDonald’s Singapore team with their projects but increasingly you will be required to support projects in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and across the region, while still supporting Singapore where required. You will be working hand-in-hand across the global Mott MacDonald Group as part of a large project team to deliver on our global projects.


You will be challenged with a wide variety of innovative projects, such as MRT stations and tunnels, major building foundations and basements, highway bridge foundations, coastal developments and reclamation projects, offshore wind and hydropower projects, and many more, meaning that every day will be different and a chance to expand your skills. You will be working with civil and structural transport infrastructure engineers, as well as other disciplines of professionals across multiple sectors (including energy, water and buildings), to deliver prestigious projects.
