Job Location- Bangalore/Noida
You will be joining our Human Factors team and will optimise human well-being and overall system performance of the predominately railways in order to improve comfort, health, safety and productivity. We also work on projects in a range of other sectors such as nuclear and aviation and the public realm. In this role, you will incorporate the three main fields of ergonomics: physical, cognitive, and organisational.
Responsibilities:
You will be working on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects providing services including:
- Behavioural insights
- Control room design
- HMI design
- Workload assessment
- Human error analysis
- Human reliability analysis
- Wayfinding
- Human factors integration
- Apply and integrate key principles of human factors, ergonomics, and behaviour change into transportation or infrastructure projects and policies.
- Design, execute, and report on research, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Identify and profile users, incorporating behavioural insights.
- Conduct Human Factors assessments, including task analysis and in-depth risk analysis, to inform infrastructure schemes and operational designs.

Qualification:
To apply for this scheme, you will have more than 7 years of experience and have a degree in one of the following degree disciplines:
- Ergonomics
- Psychology
- Human Factors or any related discipline

- Methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
- Ability to work as part of a team is a must with ability to work unsupervised or minimum supervision.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends.
- Leading human factors elements of work on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Writing and providing reports on work you've conducted.
- Initiating and supporting bid activities.
- Guiding and nurturing early career professionals within the team as well as supervising their work.
- Managing discipline specific projects.
