Your Opportunity
We are seeking an Environment and Planning Consultant to join our team of professionals to support the delivery of environmental assessments, reporting, regulatory approvals and advisory work across our Energy, Water, Transport and Defence markets. In this role, you will work as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams, delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients and communities.
In this role, you will deliver quality environmental advice, support strong project delivery, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to proposals, team knowledge and individual technical development.
- Support environmental assessments and regulatory approvals across infrastructure and development projects
- Apply technical knowledge and environmental principles to support project delivery
- Provide targeted and objective advice by collaborating with internal and external specialist advisors
- Plan and schedule your own work to align with project programmes, budgets and quality expectations
- Understand responsibilities and accountabilities for assigned work packages
- Produce clear, technically robust work aligned to contractual obligations and client specifications
- Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, coordinating technical interfaces across projects
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear communication and reliable delivery
- Use Mott MacDonald systems, processes and specialist tools to support efficient, consistent project outcomes
- Assist with presentations, panel submissions, capability statements, bid development and technical proposals
- Commit to ongoing technical learning and share your experiences as a member of the Environment and Planning team
