Your Opportunity 

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of exciting projects, our Buildings Structures team in Brisbane is looking for a Structural Engineer and Technical Director to join our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals.  

 

In this role, you’ll:  

  • Assisting with scoping, estimating, pricing and managing projects 
  • Support on building projects across sectors including arts & culture, aviation, defence, transport, civic, and life sciences.  
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and consultants to drive innovative, sustainable design solutions.  
  • Strive for technical excellence from yourself and the staff you work with in an open and inclusive manner 
  • Actively participate in client and group meetings, shaping project strategies and building long-term partnerships.  
  • Contribute to a workplace culture that values collaboration, creativity, and purpose-driven work.  

  

About you  

  • A degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field.  
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Structural Engineering
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABs,  Strand 7 etc).   
  • Possess a high level of design creativity with the ability to develop technically robust structural concepts whilst maintaining a strong focus on the design intent.    
  • Commercially aware with the ability to successfully lead structural and multidisciplinary projects through all phases whilst managing and developing strong client relationships.   
  • Desire to work within a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation and excellence, contributing to work place culture.  
  • Salary range for this position is AUD $79,000 to AUD $81,000
