We are seeking a visionary and collaborative Transport Market Leader to shape the future of transport infrastructure across Australia. This is more than a leadership role. It is an opportunity to inspire change, empower teams, and deliver projects that improve lives and communities.

This pivotal role is integral to our Australian Executive team, providing senior leadership and strategic direction. It can be based in our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices.

Your Purpose and Impact
As Transport Market Leader, you will:

  • Champion strategic direction by working with the Regional Market Leader to identify priority sub-markets and align market strategy with our business plan. Your leadership will ensure decisions are coordinated, measurable, and impactful.
  • Drive client and market growth by building meaningful, multi-level relationships and advocating for our full spectrum of services. You will be a trusted advisor and a visible leader in Australia’s transport sector.
  • Lead work-winning efforts by guiding long-term opportunity planning, strategic campaigns, and bids. You will make informed decisions that maximise return on investment and strengthen our market position.
  • Foster collaboration and inclusion by supporting Market, Client, and Practice Leaders. You will cultivate a culture of teamwork, engagement, and shared success.
  • Shape future capability by identifying talent needs, recruiting exceptional individuals, and supporting staff development in client engagement and business growth.
  • Deliver excellence in projects by acting as Project Director on key initiatives. You will monitor commercial performance, enhance strategy, and ensure profitability from the outset.
  • Invest in your growth through an individual development budget for technical training and career advancement. Partner with your People Manager to shape your journey.
  • Align with purpose-driven metrics that inform business planning and expectations, helping you stay focused and effective.

What You Bring

  • Chartered status relevant to the Transport Market and client requirements (CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent).
  • Strong expertise in project management and business development, with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with a passion for mentoring, empowering others, and fostering team growth.
