Your Opportunity
Mott MacDonald’s Roads & Highways team in Queensland continues to grow, supported by a strong pipeline of state‑significant transport infrastructure projects such as The Wave. We are seeking experienced Roads & Highways Project Managers with Transport and Main Roads (TMR) experience to support the delivery of major roads and highway projects. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working on technically complex projects and wants long‑term stability, strong project exposure, and the opportunity to work within a nationally connected transport design team.
What you will be involved in
- Managing the end‑to‑end delivery of transport infrastructure projects, from early planning through to delivery and handover
- Leading project governance, program, cost, risk and change management in line with client and commercial requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and trusted stakeholder relationships
- Coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams across engineering, advisory and technical services
- Managing sub‑consultants and supporting procurement and contract administration activities
- Contributing to tendering and proposal development, including scope, program and fee inputs
- Supporting continuous improvement in project delivery, safety, quality and commercial performance
About You
- Demonstrated Project management experience managing transport infrastructure projects (roads - highly desirable, rail, public transport or active transport
- Strong understanding of project governance, cost control, scheduling and risk management
- Experience managing the delivering of design projects for Queensland Government clients (TMR – highly desirable, other transport authorities)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management or a related discipline
