Contracts Administrator

About the Role
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing Contracts and Administering Contract terms and conditions for large construction project.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Responsible for Contract changes, modifications, extensions, claim analysis and Contract Closeout
- Supervise and monitor all aspects of the contract including: compliance, terms and conditions, service level agreements, managing receipts, documentation of change requests, delivery of deliverables, payment procedures and management reporting
- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyse, summarize, and prepare recommendations on Contract’s submissions, payments, claims and various orders.
- Work with various levels of personnel within an organization to analyse and solidify an overall contract strategy.
- Coordinate actions with internal procurement and legal teams if needed
- Report status of current contract processes to management
- Resolve any existing contract conflicts
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied for variations orders.
- Follow-up to guarantee contractual payments have been made
- Analyse potential risk that contract changes may pose to the organization
Candidate Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management/Cost Engineering from a recognized university
- Membership to a relevant professional institution (for example MRICS) would be highly advantageous
- Experience within commercial and contract management for large construction projects.
- Comprehensive background in various types of conditions of contract
