Following recent major project wins, including North East Link, our Transport business is seeking a Drainage and Hydrology Leader in Victoria to manage and deliver Iconic Australian projects, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape and grow our drainage skills offering, and support growth within our wider transport team, focusing on embedding technical excellence at the core of everything we do.
Your Opportunity
As the Drainage Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading the drainage and hydrology specialism on our roads and highway projects, to assist in the development of our people, working to build our pipeline of opportunities, and enhancing client experience, including:
- Providing technical excellence in Drainage and Hydrology on a range of iconic and projects at various scales.
- Providing strategic direction across our Victorian Roads & Highways team.
- Assist in the management multi-disciplinary project teams on large and complex projects through the delivery phase.
- Build on client relationships to continue our strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Develop and mentor less experienced team members.
About you
You are a recognised drainage and hydrology professional in the highways industry with experience working on Victorian roads and highways projects, bringing established relationships with relevant governmental agencies and contracting clients. You are an inspiring leader who thrives on motivating and driving success across your teams, projects, and your client groups. With a university degree in Civil Engineering and either holding or aspiring to obtain RPEV certification.
- Knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff, AustRoads Guide to Road Design, VicRoads Drainage Requirements, and Australian Standards applicable to drainage infrastructure.
- High level of proficiency using design software (12D preferred).
- Experience using WBNM, RORB, RAFTS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS and TUFLOW is highly preferred.
