The Opportunity
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Principal Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our national Project Delivery team and to be based in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone with 7-10 years of experience. You will support our expanding risk and assurance practice across various sectors, including Energy, Transport, Water, Buildings, and Health. Working on iconic infrastructure projects such as the Suburban Rail Loop, North East Link and other interesting projects across markets. You will collaborate with purpose-driven, high-performing professionals across different sectors and disciplines to promote Risk Advisory services. Your contributions will add unique differentiators to our product offerings, providing a holistic approach to winning and delivering work.
About You
In this role, you will closely interact with project teams to support the delivery of projects. Responsibilities include understanding and applying relevant risk analysis tools and techniques, conducting both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to support informed and evidence-based decision-making. Previous experience in a consulting environment will ensure comfort in leading client-facing engagements.
Key responsibilities encompass performing detailed risk analysis, workshop facilitation, and delivering quality reports. Advanced communication skills and experience in external and internal stakeholder management will be utilised to influence colleagues' and clients’ decisions. A track record of developing positive client relationships and securing risk consultancy work from clients is essential.
