Your Opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Managers who have a proven track record delivering infrastructure, facilities, aviation, or capital works projects within complex operational environments, particularly at Melbourne Airport.This opportunity is ideal for professionals who bring strong project delivery capability combined with established relationships and networks across Melbourne Airport, aviation stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and associated industry partners.You will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and deliver key projects, contributing to the continued growth of business.
Key responsibilities will be:Lead the delivery of aviation and infrastructure projects across planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external delivery partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with Melbourne Airport stakeholders and associated industry participants.Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and decision-making throughout project lifecycles.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.Monitor project performance, reporting, governance, and commercial outcomes.Support technical reviews, quality assurance, and compliance activities.Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new project opportunities.Mentor and support emerging project management professionals.
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- 6-10+ years relevant experience delivering projects within Melbourne Airport or other major airport environments.
- Established networks and stakeholder relationships across Melbourne Airport, airlines, aviation operators, contractors, consultants, or government agencies.
- Strong understanding of airport operations, operational constraints, and live-environment project delivery.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure, building, aviation, or capital works projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
