Senior HVAC Engineer
About the Role
We are actively seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer in our UAE offices (Dubai or Abu Dhabi). The selected candidate for this position will be expected to work across a wide range of mechanical engineering knowledge areas and have a desired focus area in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning related work.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

Performing design and engineering work in various areas of the mechanical discipline. The majority of the work will be related to heating, ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC);

Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details associated with mechanical engineering projects.

Developing conceptual designs and cost estimates for early stages of the project life cycle.

Creating design drawings utilizing Revit 3D design software.

Conducting or participating in investigative energy assessments to identify energy and cost savings measures.

Assessing and designing building ventilation systems based on requirements for heat removal in industrial spaces and maintaining indoor air quality.

Conducting spreadsheet analysis to assess the energy and cost savings of proposed energy conservation measures (ECMs)

Utilizing building modeling software (HAP or IES) to determine envelope heat gains/losses and assess savings potentials of ECMs.

Specifying mechanical equipment

Designing plumbing and building utility piping systems

Summarizing engineering results in written reports and/or presentations that are cohesive and of the highest quality.

Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to MMLs Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Candidate Specifications:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant discipline

Extensive experience in engineering and design of HVAC systems (minimum 5 years)

Licensed professional engineer strongly preferred

Ability to foster a creative engineering environment

Strong communication skills, (both in written and verbal)

Ability to work across a wide range of areas within the mechanical engineering discipline

Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs

Experience with AutoCAD and Revit design software preferred
