Lead pipeline design and engineering efforts for gas transmission projects - operates as a project engineer

Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project success

Provide technical recommendations to Engineer's of Record for pipeline design, materials selection and stress analysis

Develop HDD designs and prepare design reports with supporting calculations

Review and approve engineering drawings prepared internally, provide feedback to our drafting team for quality control

Review and apply client specifications to pipelines and related infrastructure

Verify compliance with industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME)

Work closely with client team members to maintain alignment on project objectives

Facilitate external meetings with client team members to review our design progress and manage action items

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; EIT with a future PE licensure opportunities

Proficiency in pipeline design software (e.g., AutoCAD, AutoPipe)

Strong knowledge of pipeline regulatory frameworks (e.g., PHMSA, DOT 49 CFR 192)

Experience with material selection and stress analysis, and application of client specifications to designs

Keen understanding of key pipeline design interfaces: construction inputs (ROW, workspace design, constructability), geotechnical programs and design

Expertise in core pipeline engineering design, alignment sheet development, crossing design, route selection, pipeline sizing, material selection, buoyancy control, stress analysis, and hydrostatic testing
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
