Candidate Specification :

Essential skills and experience:

 

    • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or holding comparable qualifications in drainage infrastructure design;
    • 3 - 8 years of experience in drainage design on highways and rail projects
    • Good knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation software;
    • Good command of MS Office;
    • English at intermediate level as a minimum and willingness to take active, regular part in English courses provided by our organization;
    • Ability to analyse and solve problems independently;
    • Experience with one of the 3D design software packages: Autodesk Civil3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, alternatively Bentley Open Roads;
    • Team player with professional and respectful approach towards others; 
    • Willingness to learn new skills and capabilities offered by our organisation including software, standards and more. 

Desirable skils:

· Familiarity with BIM and common data environment software for example Bentley Project Wise and/or Autodesk BIM 360 would be a plus;

· Experience in managing small to medium design teams would be a strong selling point;

· Design License/Chartership is not a must but it would be considered an advantage;

Job Profile :

As a Drainage Engineer, you will provide drainage design solutions as well as oversee the design and implementation of a range of infrastructure projects from initial concept up to detailed design working as part of multi-disciplinary teams. You will be involved in the design of drainage in a 3D environment. You will be part of design teams involved in preparation of integrated drainage models to a high level of accuracy within the BIM environment. You’ll provide technical guidance within your team while developing your skills and capabilities through our development and training programs.

In addition, you will also be involved in commercial and contractual aspects while working on technical aspects of multiple projects and supporting Project Managers.


 
Job Profile :
As an Assistant Drainage Engineer you will be involved in the design of drainage in 3D environment. You will be part of design team involved in preparation of integrated drainage models to a high level of accuracy within BIM environment. You will liaise with designers and design teams in the execution and the delivery of project requirements. You will actively participate in project implementation working on international infrastructure projects. You will have the chance to actively learning about drainage international design standards.  You will be working with the use of advanced drainage design software - MicroDrainage. Additionally, you will develop software skills by using the newest digital technologies.
