About the business unit
Mott MacDonald’s support services are the driving force behind our organisation enabling us to run efficiently and effectively. The team works collaboratively to offer specialist advice, best practice and technology to all areas of our business specifically designed for our global reach.

Overview of the role

As the Talent Mobility Business Partner for EUNA, you will shape and nurture the Talent Mobility function across the region, ensuring the smooth and thoughtful delivery of Mott MacDonald’s Talent Mobility Framework in line with our strategic goals. You will play a central role in championing ongoing transformation, bringing empathy, insight and partnership to every stage of the journey.

In this role, you will be the regional immigration specialist—supporting and guiding the immigration team while ensuring trusted, compliant and people-focused service delivery across the UK and Europe. The role also involves travel within the UK to build relationships, support key stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration across offices. Working closely with a wide range of cross-functional colleagues, you will use your expertise to offer clear, caring and confident guidance, manage complex cases with sensitivity, and build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders. As an integral member of our global team, you will collaborate daily with Global Mobility colleagues worldwide to share knowledge, align best practice and strengthen our collective approach.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Strategic Consultation & Partnership:
    • Build meaningful, trusted relationships with HRBPs and business leaders, serving as their go‑to partner for all global mobility and immigration matters. Offer clear, supportive advice that helps them make informed, people‑centred decisions
  • Team Guidance & Support:
    • Lead, mentor and encourage the Talent Mobility Advisor and immigration advisors, fostering an inclusive and empowering team culture. Champion continuous learning, wellbeing, and collaborative problem‑solving while ensuring efficient, compliant and high‑quality support.
  • Case Management:
    • Oversee the full assignment and transfer lifecycle with a focus on clarity, care and compliance. Partner closely with the Talent Mobility Advisor, who manages move logistics and vendor coordination, as well as UK immigration advisors handling visa processes for international hires and the domestic workforce
  • Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with our external partners—including relocation providers, immigration specialists and tax consultants—ensuring quality support and service excellence
  • Systems, Data & Reporting:
    • Ensure thoughtful and accurate use of our mobility technology platform and case management tools. Use data insights to understand trends, tell compelling stories, and support informed, strategic decisions. Deliver reliable, timely reporting to meet mobility and immigration requirements
  • Project Leadership:
    • Lead and contribute to a variety of people‑centred mobility projects, such as new vendor onboarding, technology improvements and process enhancements that make mobility journeys smoother and more effective for colleagues and the business
  • Immigration Compliance Leadership:
    • Oversee immigration compliance across the UK and Europe, ensuring we meet UK Visas and Immigration requirements and maintain our A‑rated sponsor licence. Offer calm, expert guidance to stakeholders and keep the business informed and prepared as government policy evolves

UK Immigration

Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision is as a consequence of the changes made to the Skilled Worker route by the UK Government in April 2024. We continue to welcome applications from candidates who are eligible for alternative immigration routes in the UK, that do not require sponsorship as a Skilled Worker now or in future.
