EHS Officer

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction supervision and commissioning activities- especially for compliance from perspective of occupational health & safety aspects.
- Overseeing implementation of Environmental Management Plan & flagging issues, suggesting remedial measures especially through work experience of similar project sites implementing ESMPS/ HSMPs etc
- Assist EHS office (Guwahati team) in preparing necessary reports to be submitted to WB / SEIAA
- Conduct regular, weekly, monthly safety walk and audits.
- Implement hazard controlling procedures at site.
- Implementation of Certificates of Compliance (CoCs).
- Conduct incident investigation, as and when required.
- Organise relevant training and awareness programs.
Minimum Qualification:
- Graduate Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of on-site experience or diploma civil engineer with at least 8 years of on-site experience as EHS officer.
- Experience of working in the construction of a multi-storied building.
- Experience of working with site safety/ occupational health and safety.
- Experience of implementing environment management plans.
