ICT Engineer

We are looking to expand our current team in Singapore and interested in applications from Engineers with experience in broad ICT networks, systems and services. We are currently seeking an experienced ICT Engineer to join our team based in Singapore office. As the newest member of our team, you will have experience in a similar role and will be given a degree of autonomy and responsibility that suits a self-starting and self-reliant person who can handle the responsibility of delivering ICT design and supporting multi-discipline building, critical facilities, data centres, airports, and commercial projects. You also will have opportunity to be involved in Digital Advisory and Smart Building works, providing advice and high level consultancy services to clients from various industry.

What you will typically do:

• Design and development of ICT infrastructure and systems, including spaces and pathways, fibre and copper structured cabling system, communication networking systems, and systems integration.
• Leading the development of the design package, performance specification, functional descriptions, systems and interface management.
• Complex design calculations using computational and network design software for LAN, WAN, WLAN, Unified Communications and Security Systems
• Use MS Visio, PowerPoint, Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other equivalent mark-up/engineering tools for drawing production
• Liaising with stakeholders, clients and end users to establish project requirements
• Monitoring and overseeing installations, testing, commissioning on site.
• Developing factory acceptance testing, or site testing procedures aligned with the requirements to various projects.

Candidate Requirements:

• You will be a qualified Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineer (or equivalent) who is experienced in the design and specification of Information technology systems and services within buildings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Current and proven experience as ICT/Telecommunication Engineer with design experience within Buildings, Transportation, Utilities, Data Centre, Mission Critical Facilities, Airports.
• Knowledge and experience in:
• ICT infrastructure – required
• Network and communication systems – required
• ICT systems integration – highly desirable
• Cybersecurity – highly desirable
• AV, PA, and other ELV systems – desirable
• Surveillance and Electronic Security Systems – desirable
• Control/Operations Room design – desirable
• Smart Building, IoT, Data Analytics, AI/ML, sustainability - desirable
• ICT industry certification (e.g. any credential from BICSI, EPI, CNET, CompTIA, UTI, Cisco, etc.) – highly desirable
• Knowledge of relevant local industry standard, regulations and processes, such as COPIF, TFCC submission - required
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills is essential.
