Mott MacDonald’s International Development Services Unit is positioning itself for a significant opportunity in Pakistan and is actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the following key roles.

Team Leader

  • Expertise in engaging with government officials at federal, provincial, and local levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistan’s political economy.
  • Proven ability to develop politically astute intervention strategies for various workstream

Strategic Learning and Monitoring Lead (Deputy Team Leader)

  • Strong background in monitoring, learning, and evidence generation for adaptive management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing both internal and external reporting mechanisms.
  • Focus on accountability towards the flexible learning agenda within technical assistance workstreams.

Disaster Resilience Thematic Lead

  • Comprehensive understanding of disaster management, including preparedness, response, and recovery.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies to enhance community and organizational resilience.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with government bodies to impact strategic initiatives and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of social vulnerabilities and intersectional issues related to disaster resilience.

Climate Finance and Adaptation Thematic Lead

  • Proficient in strategic planning, resource mobilization, and program management.
  • Demonstrated capacity in capacity building, research, and advocacy focused on climate impacts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs.
  • Responsibility for securing and managing financial resources dedicated to climate adaptation projects.

Additional Roles to Support Implementation:

  • Governance and Political Economy Lead: In-depth knowledge of governance frameworks and political dynamics relevant to program implementation.
  • GEDSI Lead: Expertise in gender equality, disability, and social inclusion principles.
  • Finance and Project Administration Lead: Strong financial management and administration capabilities for effective project execution.
  • Strategic Communications and Knowledge Management: Ability to design communication strategies and effectively manage knowledge dissemination.
