Your opportunity 

We are seeking a Graduate Engineer passionate about hydraulics design, including pipelines for Water and Wastewater. Mott Macdonald offers a unique opportunity for 2025 in Indonesia. As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll immerse yourself in resolving technical modeling issues on projects by coordinating with senior engineers and guiding business. You will also contribute to project coordination, administrative technical support, and business development, including proposal preparation within the Asia-Pacific region. 

 

  • Graduate Engineer to support in design experience related to hydraulics designs including pipeline for Water and Wastewater. 

  • Resolving technical modelling issues on projects by coordinating with senior engineers and guide business. 

  • Project coordination and administrative technical support 

  • Business development and proposals preparations support. 

 

Your Challenge  

  • Support the water team in technical advisory for B2B and PPP Projects. 

  • Support the water team in designing wastewater and/or clean water piping networks. 

  • Implement applicable standards for wastewater/ drinking water piping design.  

  • Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.

 

Key requirements

  • Work experience on previous donor funded projects (ADB, World Bank, KIAT, USDP) will be a merit. 

  • Experience in working in multi-discipline teams. 

  • Experience in using software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools for engineering design purpose. 

  • Some experience in carrying out feasibility, concept, master planning or detailed design in water supply and wastewater projects. 

  • Experience in Coordination Support. 

 

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Environmental Engineering 

  • Fresh graduate with maximum experience of 3 years. 

  • Technical background in hydraulic modelling (e.g. WaterCad, SewerCad, Epanet, etc). 

  • Knowledge and experience of water supply and sewerage system. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 

  • Willingness to travel. 

  • Proficient in English communication.
