Our Energy team in Australia has experience working on flagship projects such as South Erregulla Power Switching substation, CRY/KGN substation and Western Power substation asset replacement, that are essential to support the increased penetration of renewables. We have many years of experience connecting generation to customers, with projects ranging from OE roles, lenders technical advisors to detailed substation and transmission and design services. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven civil/structural and primary substation Designer to join our engineering team in Jakarta to continue our expansion to support Australia work. 

As a Digital Designer, you will be responsible for creating civil, structure and primary design in AUTODESK / Bentley or MicroStation software based on the sketches provided by the Engineers.

 The Opportunity 

• Supporting the Civil/Structural, Electrical Design Engineers and Engineering Team as part of our multi-disciplinary project teams. 
• Provide T&D services to our Networks, Renewables and Mining sectors. 
• Working knowledge and experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD and CAD conform. 
• Development of civil, structure and primary substation design deliverables up to 500 kV such as general arrangement layouts, primary elevations, materials lists, lighting layout, lightning layout, earthing layout, foundation layout, structure assembly/layout, underground cable and cable route. 
• Conversion and conforming of high voltage equipment vendor drawings. 
• Ability to understand the electrical engineering concepts and prepare the drawings with minimum guidance and based on high level hand sketches or explanations. 
• Facilitate safety in design, fostering a safety culture in project teams. 
• Develop a clear understanding of client design standards, guiding technical teams and achieving compliance. 
• Support the creation of high performing teams through collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team environment. 
• Support the development of a healthy environment that helps our team achieve their goals and deliver great work for our clients. 

About You: 

• Degree/Diploma in engineering, specialising in Civil Structural or Electric Power Engineering.  
• Knowledge and experience with substation high voltage equipment up to 500kV. 
• At least 5 years of drafting experience of Electrical Engineering Drawings in AUTOCAD and MicroStation Software. 
• Experience in preparing the Outdoor / Indoor High Voltage Substation/Switchyard related drawings. 
• Ability to Read/ write and Understand / Speak English Language. 
• Proactive, team player with good interpersonal skills.  
• Collaborating with other team members (both locally and globally), across disciplines and sectors.
