About the role

• Guide, direct, manage and report on team inputs and outputs with regard to the technical aspects of DED, EIA and LARAP (permitting works are excluded and to be carried out by others) for the sub-irrigation area of Semendawai, reporting to the Team Leader
• Develop and carry out the methodology for preparation of detailed design, and coordination with Environmental Impact Assessment and Land Acquisition
• To carry out coordination, technical assurance, supervision and control of detailed design works in cooperation with Structure Design Engineer A; as well as to liaise with the Team Leader and Euroconsult Project Principal for managing quality and contractual matters
• Collect and examine the existing reports, drawings and data related to design works
• To lead the preparation of detailed design for sub-irrigation area of Semendawai, including preparation of quantity calculation and bill of quantities in cooperation with Structure Design Engineer and other experts
• To review the Topographic and Baseline Survey Reports 
• To review and prepare design criteria and check list for verification of design
• To carry out overall design check for hydraulic and structure designs;
• To lead the preparation of tender documents including tender drawings and technical specifications etc. in cooperation with Contract Management Engineer and other experts
• Lead the work on the delivery of the Detailed Design Report for the Semendawai Irrigation Area
• Assist Team Leader and other experts in the preparation of other reports
• To give technical guidance to the consultant’s staff.
