Your opportunity
Continuing a trend of bold and targeted growth in the Asia Pacific region, we have an exciting opportunity for a Principal People Advisor based in Hong Kong to join our Asia team in a business partnering role.
In this business partnership role, you will oversee the team that supports people advisory services for our Hong Kong office. The role will also work closely with our local people advisory team to deliver regional people projects. This role reports into our People Advisory Manager for Asia.
This role will see you:
• Be the trusted people advisor to leaders and managers, leading and delivering first-class People Advisory services on people-related matters such as complex employee grievances, exits and contract negotiations.
• Lead people processes such as salary/bonus reviews, talent reviews and performance management.
• Develop and coach People Managers to enhance the employee experience, managing change and reinforcing desired people manager behaviours.
• Manage people projects for Hong Kong and for the Asia unit (as required), working closely with the wider Asia people team and business stakeholders.
• Using workforce analytics and data to drive the development of solutions, programs, and policies.
• Collaborating and working with regional people teams to implement people strategies and initiatives in areas such as equality, diversity and inclusion, EVP and wellbeing.
• Responsible for adhering and executing governance requirements, with a focus on data privacy and security and other risk areas.
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in business/human resource management or relevant discipline
• 10-13 years of relevant human resources experience, predominantly focused in Hong Kong
• Experience in change management projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a global matrixed business environment
• Good stakeholder management and engagement skills to facilitate, collaborate, coach, and counsel
