Overview of role
This opportunity is for a Managing / Principal Consultant specialising in a range of business change capabilities, including improvement and transformation, collaboration, innovation, social impact and business cases. We are looking for a creative and dynamic person eager to progress their career and support clients in tackling organisational challenges, enhancing business performance, and becoming more successful, resilient, and sustainable. Key responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Lead and support high complexity assignments for external infrastructure clients across the range of our services, including management of commercial aspects and contractual terms
  • Be an established industry-recognised generalist or subject matter expert with impact and influence in at least one of our capabilities
  • Demonstrate key attributes including collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and digital capability, personal development, assignment delivery, technical excellence and business development
  • Lead and manage teams delivering assignments from initiation to close
  • Facilitate and manage mid to senior-level internal and external client relationships
  • Provide subject matter expertise to clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate our PRIDE values
  • Support the overall team in business and commercial development, including direct client engagement; promoting our services across the UK and internationally; creating and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities; and work-winning from existing and new clients
  • Build internal and external networks
  • Support the development of team capabilities

 

Candidate specification
Essential:

  • Applying change management principles, methodologies and tools that underpin change management, with a proven track record of achieving results
  • Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships influencing others to move towards a common vision and gaining ‘buy in’ to enable change
  • Experience in working in client facing roles with strong consultancy skills
  • Working in and leading cross-functional teams
  • Reviewing and influencing current and future processes and target operating models
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills to clearly articulate messages to a wide variety of audiences
  • Working in innovative and creative ways
  • Awareness of 3PM, lean, better business cases, and benefits management


Desirable:

  • Relevant technical discipline accreditation and/or business degree qualified
  • Any of the following qualifications: agile project management, programme and / or portfolio management, strategy development / design thinking, Six Sigma / Lean, , business case development, change management (APMG, ProSci Practitioner, ACMP CCMP)
  • Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC)
  • Awareness of ISO 56000 series
  • UK Government security clearance
