We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate person to become a Principal Information Management Consultant within our growing Digital & Data Advisory Team, who can help us empower lasting industry transformation.

We work globally, client-side at the enterprise level and across major programmes.

You'll be part of a team that encourages support and mentoring of more junior staff while providing direction and technical guidance to the wider department. In addition, you will provide end-to-end trusted advice and support to our clients, including in areas such as information management, process optimisation, data interoperability and longevity. You will play a vital role in growing the business and creating opportunities.

As well as bringing an established network of contacts to the role that will help foster the growth of the business whilst also keeping abreast of industry best practices, we want you to be a proactive participant in the information management market. We also want you to help develop our people's capability within the team, giving them the guidance, mentoring and support needed to become high-performing recognised consultants, and also help grow our talented pool of resources. 

 
 
 Essential skills and experience:  

  • Experience of infrastructure project delivery processes and information management in capital and construction projects and programmes.   
  • Good technical knowledge and expertise in designing and embedding information management strategies and capability on major infrastructure programmes in line with BS1192 / ISO 19650  
  • Good familiarity with information requirements documentation and BIM execution plans to facilitate information exchange.  
  • Strong commercial awareness, with knowledge of contractual implications of information requirements and change control. 
  • Understanding of data management concepts and capabilities, including data technology tools to support information management 
  • Experience in communicating with suppliers around information deliverables, and engaging with BIM and information managers to formulate requirements. 
  • Strong delivery and leadership skills in managing projects. 
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills to develop and deliver tailored solutions for organisations. 

 

 

Desired skills and experience:  

  • Experience in the nuclear or energy sectors.  
  • Information Management certification (BSI or BRE) 
  • Experience with systems such as Teamcenter, Asite, ProjectWise and MIDP management tools 
  • Existing SC security, or willingness to undertake security vetting 
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and change management  
  • Awareness of integration of information and data across systems
