Reward Manager (ISMA and IDSR)

Job Purpose

Mott MacDonald strives to build processes and policies that ensure a consistent and fair approach to reward across the group. As part of enhancing our capability and ability to remain competitive in our chosen markets we are seeking a Reward Manager to support across the Region.

The Regional Reward Manager will form part of a reward network, and work closely with the Group Head of Reward, Regional HR Manager and HR Leadership teams, to contribute towards the development and implementation of global reward initiatives. This role will develop local reward policies and processes within our HR global strategy and framework as well as lead on all benefit related processes.

As well as leading reward projects across the Region, the Reward manager will help to deliver the cyclical reward activities in region, support and advise HR teams and managers on all reward matters and best practice whilst ensuring regional compliance with global frameworks, governance, and policies. They would also feed back to the Group Head of Reward giving regional perspectives to inform and shape the group reward policy going forward.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Managing, analysing and communicating the ongoing evolution of the reward programs, policies, and procedures across the region.
  • Developing and optimising approaches to pay and benefits benchmarking
  • Assessing local market positioning and benchmarking by analysing survey data and leveraging regional knowledge.
  • Overseeing and delivery of compensation processes, including survey participation, job levelling, salary structure development, base pay administration. Developing regional compensation guidelines aligned to global principles/frameworks, ensuring local regional compliance.
  • Where appropriate, support the management and administration of employee benefits programmes, engaging with key stakeholders as necessary. Liaise with external parties and if required, be accountable for the benefits programme.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the job architecture and career pathway frameworks.
  • Keep abreast of local reward trends supporting business units with the evolution of their employee reward offering.
  • Providing compensation and salary insights and analytics to key stakeholders.
  • Support the Group’s cyclical reward activities (salary, bonus reviews and share scheme) and work closely with HR teams across the Region to ensure salary and bonus reviews are appropriate.
  • Supporting regional reward communication, education and training activities to drive employee awareness and understanding.
  • Working with the Regional HR Manager and EDI lead on the Pay Gap reporting exercises where required.

 

Candidate specification:

Essential

  • The ideal candidate will have significant reward experience obtained in a range of environments, ideally with multi-country experience in a matrix organisation.
  • Experience in job levelling / job architecture projects.
  • Experience of change management.
  • Experience of salary benchmarking and working with salary surveys (e.g. Kornferry / Mercer / WTW).
  • Ability to analyse, organise and present numerical and statistical data in an engaging manner utilising advanced excel skills such as VBA / macros.
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of managing salary review processes from analysis, budgeting, recommendation gathering and communication.
  • Experience of managing benefits and pensions.
  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate with, partner and influence, key stakeholders and be able to explain complex matters clearly and simply.
  • Holistic understanding of reward and recognition processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload, priorities, and deadlines.

Desirable

  • CCP accreditation or CIPD qualification desired.
  • Multi-country experience and exposure to India, Middle East, and African and European countries.
  • Experience of SAP SuccessFactors.
