We're looking for an experienced Civil 3D Designer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality civil infrastructure designs and enjoy collaborating with talented engineers on meaningful projects, we'd love to hear from you.

 

As our Civil 3D Designer, you'll be the creative and technical force behind the detailed plans that bring our projects to life. Your expertise will help transform conceptual visions into precise, buildable designs, whether it’s a new roadway, a stormwater management system, utility infrastructure, or a large-scale site development. Your work will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the communities we serve.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into accurate, constructible plans.
  • Create 3D surface models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections for a variety of infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare plan sets, quantity calculations, and construction documentation.
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery.
  • Maintain organized drawing files, models, and documentation to ensure efficient project execution.

 

Candidate Specification:

We're looking for someone who brings technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

 

You'll have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience preparing civil engineering designs and construction drawings.
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience developing grading, drainage, utility, roadway, or site development plans.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering design standards and drafting practices.
  • Experience creating and managing 3D models, surfaces, alignments, profiles, and corridors.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in civil engineering technology, drafting, or a related field preferred.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with transportation, municipal, water, wastewater, or land development projects.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation, BIM workflows, GIS platforms, or other design technologies.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

 

 

The expected salary for this position is $84,000 - $103,000.
