We are seeking a Structural Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging engineering assignments while gaining exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration, project delivery, and client engagement.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs using industry-standard analysis and design software
  • Contribute to projects involving bridges (rail/LRT/highway), retaining walls, underground/buried structures, transit stations, and other civil infrastructure
  • Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and multidisciplinary coordination
  • Review, prepare, and refine engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents
  • Perform structural analyses, prepare reports, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
  • Attend site visits and on-site coordination meetings
  • Support a “digital by default” delivery approach in project execution
  • Gain exposure to project management, commercial aspects, and client relations

 

Candidate Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 3+ years of structural engineering experience with a Master’s degree and EIT certification
  • Experience with relevant design standards with AASHTO, Caltrans, AREMA, ASCE, CBC
  • Experience in California seismic analysis and design
  • Proficiency in designing structures using:
    • Cast-in-place reinforced concrete
    • Precast/prestressed concrete
    • Post-tensioned systems
    • Structural steel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop high-quality technical reports and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive mindset, with a commitment to technical excellence, integrity, and continuous learning

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

 

 

The expected salary for this position is $92,000 - $112,000.
