Job Description:  

We have opportunities for a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Madrid office for Graduate Electrical Engineers within our Energy and Water sectors. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure. You’ll be empowered to grow your technical and project management skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference—locally and globally.

You will have the oportunity to select your preferred sector as part of your application, no matter which sector you choose you'll be part of a talented team of engineers and technical specialists working across the full project lifecycle—from feasibility to commissioning. Your responsibilities may include: 

 

 
 
  • Designing with purpose: Prepare and review electrical and ICA (EICA) designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, including both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets. 

  • Creating technical outputs: Develop drawings and documentation such as plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture, and I/O schedules. 

  • Collaborating across disciplines: Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions. 

  • Driving innovation: Use digital tools and data-driven approaches to enhance design quality and efficiency. 

  • Growing with support: Gain exposure to project and commercial management, supported by mentoring, training, and our Early Careers Professionals Network. 

 

Candidate Specification:

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:    

 

  • Electrical Engineering   

  • Power Systems Engineering
