Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance.

What you’ll do:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll work within a multi-disciplinary project team to develop and deliver water TOTEX solutions. You’ll lead mechanical design work across a range of clean water projects, ensuring high-quality, efficient outcomes that meet Anglian Water’s goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading mechanical optioneering, identifying risks and gaps while ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Developing design calculations for mechanical, hydraulic, power-generating, and building services equipment.
- Collaborating with the supply chain to assess new technologies and innovative solutions.Working with the design team to develop 3D models, P&IDs, and data sheets.
- Providing mechanical input into commissioning plans, including HAZID and HAZOP studies and proposed performance tests.
- Ensuring designs meet health, safety, and compliance standards under CDM regulations.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance digital delivery, sustainability, and project innovation.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with extensive mechanical design experience.
- Proven track record in designing hydraulic and mechanical systems and products.
- Understanding of modular build, construction processes, and electrical control systems.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value.
- Willingness to explore new technologies and approaches to drive project efficiencies.
- Advanced Level of English / ability to work in English
- Willing to travel to UK on regular basis
