About the business unit
Mott MacDonald’s Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) unit delivers both project, programme & commercial management (PPCM) services and advisory solutions across the built environment, defence, energy, water, environmental, transportation, health and care sectors.
We deliver tailored solutions that directly address our clients’ key challenges, combining our world-leading project expertise with unrivalled programme delivery capabilities and advisory services.
APD delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity up to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting, digital consulting and education, health and care management.
Overview of the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Consultant to join our team. The team has recently worked on some of the major UK infrastructure projects such as the New Hospitals Programme, Sizewell C and the Anglian Water Reservoirs Programme.
The candidate would work within the Asset, Data and Information team alongside other team members with capability on BIM and Digital Twin strategy.
This specific opportunity is for a role in Spain, due to growth in Spain. Projects may be based in Spain or international projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the use of BIM, information management, project delivery, and client communication.
This role involves actively participating in discovery workshops, developing IM project delivery programs, and the forming of BIM / IM strategy.
The consultant will also be responsible for conducting gap analyses, and identifying systems, processes and workflows that support digital implementation and handover.
Candidate specification
Essential:
- High knowledge of information management standards (BSEN ISO 19650) and protocols
- Proven experience in utilising BIM for information management and project delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues as needed
Desirable:
- BIM model authoring experience
- Perform project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
- Understanding of COBie implementation and handover processes to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Knowledge of metadata management and information classification
