Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Actively engage with internal and external auditors for timely completion of audits
- Prepare financial statements
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet & P&L reconciliations and preparation and timely submission of quarterly BPC packs
- Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts with group entities and regular settlement of balances
- Accurate maintenance of fixed asset register, posting of monthly depreciation journals as per statutory requirements and managing periodic physical verification of asset
- Provide support in ensuring timely compliance with external regulatory requirements
- Identity and implement initiatives to simplify and strengthen processes
- Monitor internal controls as per the Group frameworks and ensure corrective actions are implemented on timely basis
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with working experience in industry, preferably in-service industry
- Experience in managing team
- Fluent English (both written and verbal)
- Candidates who have done CA articleship in BIG 4's would be highly preferred
- Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems
- Flexibility to work with changing environment
