Overview of role
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors consultant to join our Enterprise Applications People Systems Project Delivery team. Working in IT while collaborating with the HR community the role will have responsibility for providing technical advice and guidance in the implementation and support of Employee Central for our in-production SAP SuccessFactors system.
Experience with these additional SAP SuccessFactors modules would be advantageous as we need to take a holistic view across our SAP landscape for any changes: Role Based Permissions (RBP’s), Compensation, Recruiting + Onboarding, Learning, Performance + Goals and Succession + Development. As well we integrate Employee Central with Workforce Analytics, Qualtrics and OpenText.
- Utilise best practices and Mott MacDonald IT methodologies for system implementation/project delivery.
- Manage the enhancement of existing SAP Success Factors Employee Central functionality as well as the development of new functionality (including the associated integrations with downstream systems).
- Ensure that a “big picture” view is taken of any changes to our People Systems so that a holistic view is taken and that changes in one module don’t negatively impact other modules or downstream systems.
- Build collaborative relationships with the People Systems Strategy team, HR teams, other areas of IT and other key stakeholders within the business.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather business requirements and work with them to document clear deliverables against which to test and develop the ‘to be’ processes.
- Ensure system developments made via regular releases and upgrades are thoroughly tested in line with defined processes/ timescales.
- Communicate change and systems developments to stakeholders and identify changes to documented processes.
- Ensure that data governance and security processes are in place and always adhered to.
- Act as a point of technical escalation for the business-as-usual team (there may be times when hands on support for operational activities is needed, during team absences, etc.).
- Use networks and technical learning to keep up to date with innovations and trends in the People Systems technology sector.
Candidate Specification
Essential
- Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (certification is desired but not essential)
- Understanding of HR business processes and how People Systems enable these business processes
- Understanding of best practices system implementation/project delivery methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating raw data into clear and meaningful information
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to look at the wider picture
- Adaptable and change embracing
Desirable
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Role Based Permissions (RBP’s), Compensation, Recruiting + Onboarding, Learning, Performance + Goals and Succession + Development, Workforce Analytics, Qualtrics and OpenText
