Job Description 

 

We are seeking an Assistant/BIM modeller to join our team in Noida and take a role in the delivery of infrastructure projects. The Highways team provides detailed design services for a wide spectrum of highways, utilities & drainage for Design and Build projects. Candidates must have a good understanding of BIM processes & software for the Highways projects.

 

Job Location : Noida 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

As an Assistant/BIM Modeller, you will be expected to be proactive in the production of drawings and resolution of models. Key elements of the role are:

 

  • Taking ownership of the quality and delivery of one's own work.
  • Able to resolve and support the team on the issues pertaining to BIM and drawing in general.
  • Reviewing BIM models and drawings.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Working with the design team and individually on BIM projects.
  • Ensuring standards are being followed for every project undertaken.
  • Guiding junior team members.

 

Candidate Specification:

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering or design/ CAD Certification/ Previous experience as a CAD Technician

 

Essential skills and experience:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. MicroStation is an added skill set.
  • 3-12 years of experience.
  • Experience working on linear infrastructure projects, such as roads and rail is a must.
  • Preferably has experience with the UK and Middle East projects.
  • Understanding of GG184 (Highways England Specification for the use of computer aided design)
  • Preferable experience of BS1192 and associated processes.
  • Will have applied and used BIM tools & software in civil engineering infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to identify complex BIM issues quickly and accurately.
  • Proactive communication skills when working with colleagues & design teams.
  • Ability to work in an organised structured framework, supporting colleagues and delivering to the project program.

 

Desirable competencies/skills:

 

Knowledge and experience of working and delivering BIM solutions on multi-disciplinary projects.
