Job Description

Our Noida office is expanding its Bridges team, and we are looking for a talented CAD Technician with a focus on reinforcement detailing to support the delivery of major transportation and global infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and technically strong team, where you will gain hands-on experience in producing high-quality reinforcement drawings and contribute to the success of complex bridge & civil structure design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for bridge and civil structures using AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms.
  • Interpret structural drawings and models to accurately detail reinforcement layouts including clash checks.
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific standards, codes of practice, company CAD/BIM protocols and QA/QC processes.
  • Coordinate with structural engineers and BIM modellers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
  • Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control and documentation standards are followed.
  • Support junior technicians in day-to-day drafting tasks and project coordination.

Candidate Specification:

Qualifications:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI (Civil), B.Tech. degree will be considered an added advantage

Essential skills and experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in reinforcement detailing for bridges or civil structures
  • Basic understanding of structural drawings, reinforcement detailing standards & Construction practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CADS RC
  • Familiarity with MS Excel for BBS preparation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to drafting
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies and workflows and grow within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance

Desirable competencies / skills:

  • Knowledge of ArmaCAD, MicroStation, or Tekla
  • Experience on international projects and standards
