Devops Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in Azure Cloud to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of containerization, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation to support users and handle occasional development tasks. This role primarily involves assisting users, troubleshooting, and minor scripting/development tasks.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure.
• Experience in user support, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevOps environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Azure Cloud: Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, resource management, and troubleshooting.
• Kubernetes: Basic understanding of Kubernetes, including defining Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and managing containerized applications.
• Terraform: Experience in writing and maintaining Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning.
• Docker/Containerization: Strong understanding of Docker and container-based deployments.
• Application Development: Experience in Python or Node.js for scripting and automation tasks.
• Conceptual Knowledge: Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and networking fundamentals.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor).
• Exposure to Kubernetes package management.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• User Support: Assist teams in troubleshooting and resolving cloud and container-related issues.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop small scripts or automation tasks (e.g., defining CRDs, generating reports).
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Container Orchestration: Ensure smooth operations of containerized applications in Kubernetes.
• Collaboration: Work with development and operations teams to improve DevOps processes.
