MEP BIM Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated MEP BIM Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in Revit software.

Key Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM within Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. 
• Create detailed 3D MEP models using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather all necessary information to create accurate models.
• Update and modify models as per revised plans and specifications.
• Generate and extract 2D drawings and details from the 3D models.
• Run clash detection and generate clash reports to facilitate coordination meetings.
• Maintain the project’s BIM library by creating and updating BIM families.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• 3 Year Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within BIM.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and learning skills.
