Role Overview:

Shape the Future of Enterprise Technology

At our organisation, we believe great technology is built by empowered people working together toward a common purpose.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Enterprise Team Manager to lead a team responsible for delivering and evolving enterprise platforms, products, and internal digital solutions that help our people and business perform at their best.

This role sits uniquely between Product Management and Team Leadership. It combines strategic product thinking with people leadership, stakeholder partnership, and delivery excellence. You will have the opportunity to influence how enterprise technology is developed, prioritised, and delivered, while creating an environment where individuals can thrive, learn, and grow.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, translating business needs into meaningful solutions, and building high-performing teams that deliver lasting impact.

The Opportunity

  • Technology plays a critical role in enabling our business, our employees, and the communities we serve.

  • As Enterprise Team Manager, you will lead the evolution of our enterprise products and platforms, ensuring they deliver measurable value, drive operational excellence, and support our strategic ambitions.

  • You will partner with business leaders, engineers, architects, analysts, and operational teams to shape priorities, define roadmaps, and deliver solutions that make a difference.

  • Beyond delivery, you will be responsible for building capability, fostering collaboration, and creating a culture where innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Product Leadership

You will be the primary bridge between software engineering delivery and the internal business stakeholders who own our enterprise systems, ultimately accountable for the outcomes delivered through the roadmap you own, treating each system as a product with a clear value proposition and success metrics rather than a queue of tickets.

  • Own ultimate accountability for measurable business outcomes delivered through the enterprise software roadmap, not just outputs or features

  • Apply a product-centric mindset to each enterprise system, define outcomes and success metrics, and manage the system's lifecycle rather than isolated projects

  • Build and maintain a rolling roadmap prioritized by business value, using a consistent framework

  • Support a diverse set of systems owners on roadmap discipline outcome thinking, longer-term planning, and distinguishing fixes from strategic investment

  • Facilitate workshops and prioritization sessions, using lightweight templates that make structured planning accessible to less mature stakeholders

  • Mediate competing priorities across internal clients and facilitate trade-off conversations using data, not relationship pressure, escalating genuine conflicts to leadership

  • Manage strong working relationships with stakeholders in different countries and time zones, adapting communication style and cadence to a globally distributed team

  • Report roadmap status and outcomes delivered to business stakeholders and engineering leadership, framed around business KPIs

  • Lead engineering tech leads and delivery managers to keep the roadmap aligned with real delivery capacity and cross-system dependencies

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of Technology professionals.

  • Create a culture of trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Support career development through mentoring, coaching, and growth opportunities.

  • Build team capability through effective workforce planning, succession planning, and recruitment.

  • Foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone feels empowered to contribute.

  • Promote employee wellbeing and create a psychologically safe environment where people can do their best work.

Delivery & Execution Excellence

  • Oversee the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.

  • Establish effective delivery practices that encourage agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage risks, dependencies, priorities, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.

  • Ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality, security, reliability, and performance.

  • Support teams in overcoming challenges and removing barriers to success.

  • Drive operational excellence through effective governance and decision-making frameworks.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.

  • Encourage experimentation, learning, and innovation across the team.

  • Drive adoption of modern technologies, automation, and data-driven practices where appropriate.

  • Use insights, metrics, and feedback to inform strategic decisions and continuously improve outcomes.

  • Help shape future enterprise capabilities that support organisational growth and transformation.

What Success Looks Like for this role:

In this role, success will be measured not only by what is delivered, but by the impact created.

Successful Enterprise Team Managers:

  • Build engaged, high-performing teams.

  • Create clear direction and purpose.

  • Deliver meaningful business outcomes.

  • Drive adoption and value from enterprise solutions.

  • Strengthen partnerships across the organisation.

  • Continuously improve products, platforms, and processes.

  • Inspire trust through transparency, integrity, and accountability.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading enterprise technology, digital product, or internal platform teams.

  • Experience managing and developing people in a technology or product environment.

  • Strong background working with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Experience shaping priorities, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex cross-functional programmes or products.

  • Experience working within Agile, iterative, or modern delivery environments.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and execution.

Preferred Experience

  • Product Management, Programme Management, or Digital Transformation experience.

  • Enterprise applications and business-critical platforms.

  • Cloud-based technologies and modern enterprise architectures.

  • Data, analytics, automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Change management and organisational transformation.

  • Experience leading globally distributed or cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant leadership, product, programme, or agile certifications are advantageous.

  • 15+ Years Minimum

Why Join Us?

  • This is more than a leadership role. It is an opportunity to help shape how technology enables our people, supports our business, and contributes to meaningful outcomes.

  • We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed regardless of background, experience, or perspective. We celebrate diverse thinking, encourage curiosity, and support continuous learning.
