Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data centre, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Structural OBD professional to join our team and work on high-impact building projects.
Key Deliverables
• Develop BIM structural models independently using Bentley AECOSim / OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
• Set up and manage models on ProjectWise, ACC, or BIM 360 environments.
• Create accurate 3D structural models and associated project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce 2D GA drawings, plans, sections, and detailing sheets.
• Prepare 2D/3D reinforcement models and reinforcement drawings.
• Perform model coordination, clash detection, and QA/QC checks.
• Deliver high-quality BIM outputs aligned with project standards and project timelines.
• Support BIM implementation and adherence to project-specific BIM execution plans and standards.
Candidate Specification
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Good experience in Bentley AECOSim / OpenBuildings Designer (Structural) with strong BIM modelling experience.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, and ProjectWise / ACC / BIM 360 platforms.
• Experience in quantity take-offs and embodied carbon calculations.
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings, commercial developments, and structural steel projects.
• Exposure to international projects and global design standards.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, detailing, and BIM deliverables.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality BIM outputs within project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or equivalent coordination tools.
• Knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary building projects for UK, Middle East, or other international markets.
