Our Energy team is seeking a talented and experienced designer and software developer with experience developing add-in applications for both the AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro platforms. This individual will be involved in the planning, developing, and deploying internal applications that run in and extend the capability of the AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro environments. They will join a team of developers to expand our capability and flexibility. This individual’s responsibilities will include:

 

  • Communicating and planning with the development team.
  • Understanding the needs of the projects for which the tools are being made.
  • Identifying and finding solutions for complex problems.
  • Analyzing large data sets.
  • Working in databases.
  • Developing tools to interact with objects in both the AutoCAD and ArcMap Pro environment.
  • Drafting and/or GIS related tasks as needed.
  • Ability to create AutoCAD drawings and GIS mapping based on established standards.
  • Work with engineers to modify AutoCAD/GIS data in a collaborative session.

Candidate Specifications:

 

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience Required
  • Experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET Framework 6.0.5 (C#) and above is required.
  • Experience developing applications using databases (SQL, SQLite) is required.
  • Experience developing applications that use the Microsoft Interops is preferred.
  • Python experience is preferred.
  • Design/Drafting experience using Autodesk products (AutoCAD Map3D, Civil 3D, etc.) is required.
  • GIS Experience using ESRI desktop products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro) is required.
  • Experience in ArcGIS Server, SDE Administration, Portal, and/or ArcGIS Online is preferred. 
  • Experience using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Online in AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess a strong work-ethic and eagerness to teach and learn.

 

Salary Range: $70k-$80k - based on experience
