Your Opportunity  

 
Mott MacDonald’s Energy team is looking for a talented, collaborative and inclusive Energy Market Lead to lead our well-established and growing Energy team in Perth. 
 
You will join a local, nationally connected team with a global presence and a reputation for excellence and innovation. The team is known in the WA market for their depth of knowledge in the development and delivery of energy generation and transmission projects. The Energy Market Lead will focus on continuing to drive our Western Australian strategy, providing direction to our winning Energy team, as well as contributing to the growth and diversification of the Australian Energy business.  

 
In this role, you will be both an operational and a strategic leader. You will collaborate to ensure the effective delivery of Energy related services, including a specific focus on the three Ps of consulting: People, Projects, and Pursuits: 

 

  • People: Demonstrating and promoting positive and visible leadership and team collaboration that aligns with our PRIDE values and culture across the APNA region. Developing a high-performing team based on a foundation of trust and inclusivity. Providing clear expectations, modelling accountability, and recognising high performance to maximise retention. 
  • Projects: Being accountable for sound project governance, including instigating formal reviews and risk management. Managing performance and successful commercial delivery of projects, while delivering innovation and technical excellence to ensure client satisfaction. 
  • Pursuits: Contributing to the global success of the Energy Market by building networks across the Mott MacDonald Group and supporting global projects. Driving the coordination of pursuits, winning work and enhancing market presence in line with the business strategy, and developing and maintaining key client relationships as an Account Leader. 

About you 
  

You will have both a personal and professional passion for the Energy sector with an excellent track record in delivering projects in a commercial/consultancy environment.  We welcome applications from those demonstrating:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in proactively developing client relationships to deliver energy-related projects and work-winning opportunities.
