The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Transfer Pricing Manager responsible for supporting the Group Transfer Pricing function, working closely with a hybrid team across multiple jurisdictions.

Mott MacDonald’s transfer pricing team develops, implements and maintains global intercompany transfer pricing arrangements and policies; collects and analyses transfer pricing and financial data and information; prepares or assists with transfer pricing requirements in over 50 tax jurisdictions; as well as manages and works closely with third-party advisers located across the world.

This role involves managing transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance, as well as overseeing complex projects and audits. The Group Transfer Pricing Manager will be a part of a global tax team, and collaborate and integrate with internal teams, external advisors, and tax authorities.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your specific expertise, your responsibilities will include various aspects of: 

  • Manage, implement and maintain group transfer pricing policies
  • Oversee global transfer pricing compliance, engaging with Finance/Tax teams and/or local third-party consultants, ensuring timely and accurate preparation in line with OECD and local requirements
  • Undertake data gathering and analysis to present transfer pricing-related information to local tax authorities, including significant collaboration with Finance, Tax, and other business functions
  • Work with external advisors and local consultants to support ongoing assessments and transfer pricing compliance 
  • Partner with business units to proactively identify transfer pricing risks and opportunities
  • Assist and own global and local technical transfer pricing projects
  • Identify improvement activities in relation to the performance of the Group Transfer Pricing team as well as wider Group Tax function
  • Liaise with key contacts in local and overseas Finance teams to build efficient communication channels and networks that guarantee swift identification of potential transfer pricing issues 

 

 

About You 

 The ideal candidate will have strong transfer pricing experience and be confident in pro-actively communicating with various members of the wider Tax and Finance teams, and other internal and external stakeholders. Other requirements include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and work well with people at all levels of seniority
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment with often ambiguous and rapidly changing priorities
  • A team player with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Project planning and management skills
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with data processing and AI tools preferred (e.g. Alteryx)
  • Ability to extract, analyse, and review qualitative and quantitative data and information with the ability to present results of the analyses to senior stakeholders
