Information Control Lead - SPA

Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Information Control Lead to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).
The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this we have a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.
What will you be doing as our new Information Control Lead?
As part of SPA’s ambitious and complex programme delivered by a large alliance of companies, we are seeking an Information Control Lead to join our Digital Team. Reporting to the Information Manager, you will manage the document/information control function and oversee their day-to-day activities across SPA projects.
This is a key assurance role, ensuring compliance with SPA BIM standards and protocols within our Common Data Environment (CDE).
Key responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a small team of two Information Controllers, ensuring workload prioritisation and compliance with SPA BIM standards and ISO19650.
Assist SPA project teams with administration and maintenance of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) on projects, registering and administering to their project file deliverables.
Assist SPA supply chain with administration and maintenance of the Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP), registering and administering to their project file deliverables.
Maintain Master and Task Information Delivery Plans (MIDP/TIDP) and ensure correct registration of deliverables.
Generate new document and drawing numbers in the MIDP/TIDP upon request from the project team or supply chain.
Support SPA project teams and supply chain end-users with upload, creation and storing of information correctly in the CDE.
Act as the main point of contact for supply chain partners and project teams on all document/information control matters.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours:
This job might be for you if you have:
Minimum requirement of NVQ / A-Levels / HNC or HND, or similar.
Familiarity with BIM standards (PAS 1192 / ISO 19650)
Familiarity of GDPR fundamentals Experience working to PAS1192 or ISO19650 BIM protocols.
Familiarity of SharePoint Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar tools or other electronic document management systems (e.g. Asite, ProjectWise)
Evidence showing a strong background in infrastructure or engineering projects, preferably in the water sector
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
